TUESDAY: Salmon Crumble with saute potatoes, garden peas and broccoli florets

Pudding Club: Forest fruit strudel with custard

WEDNESDAY: Roast Pork with stuffing and apple sauce, roast potatoes, carrots and Brussel sprouts

THURSDAY: Quiche Lorraine, chipped potatoes, garden peas, grilled tomatoes

FRIDAY: Roast Chicken Pie, creamed potatoes, creamed leeks, sliced carrots

Pudding Club: Sherry Trifle.

MONDAY: Roast Chicken with Lemon & thyme stuffing, roast potatoes & parsnips, sliced carrots and spring greens

TUESDAY: Happy St George's Day !

                  Battered Cod with Tartare sauce and lemon, chips and peas

Pudding Club:    Apple Pie with cream

WEDNESDAY : Somerset Pork, croquette potatoes, red cabbage, French beans

THURSDAY : Lamb, mint & potato Pie, creamed potatoes, ratatouille, sliced green beans

FRIDAY : Chicken Chasseur, saute potatoes, broccoli florets, baton carrots

Pudding Club:   Apricot Crumble with custard

To place your orders please give us a ring, by the day before you plan to come in.

We do offer a few vegetarian options, but please ring by 10.30 am if you would like one.

If you have any allergies, please talk to the Chef about recipes.


Pudding Club: We offer a dessert on Tuesdays AND Fridays for those who come in to the House for lunch, so please  let us know if you would like both main course and dessert when you order your lunch. Thank you.

The price of each main meal is £7.00 for members / £8.00 for visitors. Optional dessert in the House on Tuesdays and Fridays is £2.00.

We are open every weekday morning, 9.30 am to 1.15pm -  We offer a safe place, free wi-fi,  company and a warm welcome.

Hot drinks (with biscuit) cost £2 and cold drinks £1.
Tea/Coffee and Toast is £3


  For those who have meals delivered:

Please tell us if you have any allergies or are vegetarian when you order a meal from us.

Please pay with cash, by cheque (made payable to "Lewes House of Friendship") or via our card machine; we can bring the card machine to you to make this easier. To arrange this, please ring the House any weekday morning, between 9.30 am and 12 noon.

Unfortunately, we are not able to take card payments over the phone 

If you would like to set up a standing order with your bank, just ask us for details of our bank account.


For those who have meals in the house:

Please tell us if you have any allergies or are vegetarian when you order a meal from us.

We are happy for you to pay by card, or with cash.

Please make sure to order a meal by the day before at the latest. Just give us a ring between 9.30 and 11.30 am on

01273 476469 Monday to Friday.

All meals are served with fresh vegetables.

If you plan to have lunch on a Tuesday or a Friday, please make sure to tell us if you would like dessert.
